Privacy Policy

This policy covers onlinepaycheckcalculator.com ("the site", "we"). The short version: the paycheck calculator runs entirely in your browser, so your salary, deductions and filing status never leave your device. We don't have a database of visitors' pay.

What the calculator does with your numbers

Every figure you enter is processed by JavaScript on your own computer or phone. Nothing you type is sent to our servers, stored, or shared. Reloading the page clears it.

What we do collect

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare records standard server logs for each request: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, referring URL, and timestamp. Cloudflare keeps these for security and to run its network, and its own handling of that data is described in the Cloudflare privacy policy.

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages get visited and roughly where visitors come from. Google sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to tell returning browsers apart and receives your IP address, which it truncates, along with page URLs and device details. It does not receive anything you type into the calculator. Google's handling of this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. We don't run advertising pixels.

If we add advertising in the future, this page will be updated first and the change will be dated at the top.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets the cookies described above. Cloudflare may set a small number of technical cookies (for example, to manage bot challenges). Neither contains anything you typed into the calculator.

Third-party links

We link to outside sites such as the IRS, Social Security Administration and Florida Department of Revenue. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.

Children

The site is not aimed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.

Your rights

We don't hold a profile on you, so there is normally nothing for us to access, correct or delete; analytics data sits with Google in aggregate form. If you believe otherwise, or you have a question about this policy, email us at privacy@onlinepaycheckcalculator.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
